For the best experience, I highly recommend listening with headphones or earbuds.
This page is one self-contained file — the same shape as the public Stock Dashboard. The whole library lives in a single TRACKS list near the top of the script, and the album and player screens are all built from it, so adding your ~500 slowed tracks is a list edit, not a rebuild.
Each track is one line: a title, an artist, an album, and a src. The artist and album names are what group tracks onto the browse screens — new artists and albums appear automatically. The src can be a file sitting next to the page, or a direct streaming link — the player treats them the same.
Put MP3s in a tracks/ folder in the same repo and use a relative path. Best for a best-of set kept under ~1 GB total.
Upload everything once, then use each file's direct download link. The page stays tiny no matter how many tracks you add.
// in the <script>, add yours to the list:
{ title: "Song Name (Slowed)", artist: "Artist Name",
album: "Album Name", src: "tracks/song-name-slowed.mp3" }
// or, hosted on archive.org:
{ title: "Song Name (Slowed)", artist: "Artist Name",
album: "Album Name",
src: "https://archive.org/download/YOUR-ITEM/song-name-slowed.mp3" }
// optional "art" field = that album's real cover, saved in assets/:
{ title: "4X4", artist: "Don Toliver", album: "HARDSTONE PSYCHO",
art: "assets/art-hardstone.jpg",
src: "https://pub-310c4716cfa349e883e267dd989c95a3.r2.dev/4X4%20sr.mp3" }
290 tracks are wired in this way — streaming from the music-folder1 archive.org item, with their real album covers saved under assets/art-*.jpg where the sheet gave one. Tracks whose sheet artwork was missing use the fallback cover, and each artist's “Leaks” tracks form their own Leaks album with a custom cover (assets/art-leaks-don-toliver.jpg, assets/art-leaks-ssgkobe.jpg).
Covers: each album uses its real cover via the track's art field. Artist credits are split on “&” and “,” into individual artists, so a shared album appears in full under each artist's catalogue and combo credits never get their own tile — except JACKBOYS, which stays a single artist of its own. Durations fill in automatically the first time each track loads.
index.html, plus the assets/ folder.tracks/ in the same commit.main, folder / (root), and save.https://YOURNAME.github.io/REPO/.music/index.html in the website repo and link to /music/).Slowed edits are still the original artists' recordings underneath. A public page is the most visible way to share them — a curated set of your best edits carries less takedown risk than the full archive, wherever you host it.
